How  do you keep your business and social connections engaged with your posts? Read these tips to find out what you should be posting and how you should be managing your online content. Before you post your listings or write about what you ate for lunch today, remember that while social networking and online interactions have the potential to turn into business opportunities, Facebook is best used as a way to connect with people on a social level.Use the following tips to turn yourself into a Facebook posting pro.

* Mix personal and business posts. Share great articles and content that your friends would find interesting. Whether it’s a new article from The New York Times on the $8,000 tax credit, or a link to a recipe to the potato salad you are making at a Labor Day party, mix it up. You can also post local events, a photo from your open house or links to videos on YouTube, for example, KW’s This Month in Real Estate videos.

* Keep your content fresh. Try to post at least once a day, but two or more times a day is best. This gives your friends an incentive to stay connected with you and to visit your page. Not only will your page offer great content, your contacts will continue to come back or even suggest new friends. An easy way to stay connected while on the go is by updating Facebook through your mobile or smart phone.

* Join in the conversation. Engage in communication as much as possible. Comment on people’s photos, posts, notes, status updates and look for new friends regularly. Remember, whenever you comment on something it populates your home feed and your friend’s see what you’ve commented on. But, only comment if you have something worthwhile to say, not to just post your blog name or contact information.

If your content is quality, your time spent on social networking will be quality as well. Keep these tips in mind when posting and you will see increased success through your social media efforts.Be sure to visit the  Facebook Pages for KW:  www.facebook.com/kellerwilliamsrealtywww.facebook.com/yourfirsthomewww.facebook.com/realestateshiftwww.facebook.com/millionaireinvestorwww.facebook.com/millionaireagentInformation  Provided by KWRI

Insider Network

Posted by ecordero under For Realty Professionals

Insider Network provides special rider signs with unique text codes. Agents activate a sign by “assigning” it to one of their listings and displaying it in front of that property. When potential buyers text the code on the rider sign, Insider Network automatically replies with two text messages. The first message contains specific details about the property and the second message contains the listing agents contact information. These messages also contain a link to a mobile web page or “mini website” created specifically for that listing and that agent. This mobile web page contains price, photos, room dimensions, and more—everything that is included in the listing sheet! No more costly flyers to print and replenish. Prospective buyers instantly obtain listing information without leaving their car, store the information on their phone, and even forward the information to a friend.   Check out their site for more special features!

Hi Agents,

Blogs are the latest tool for generating interest and reponses from your customers. Designed like a journal, each day you offer advice, information, news, and/or links that will keep your customers coming back for more.

Adding content is as easy as writing your thoughts in a blogging tool and clicking the publish button. By adding content on a regular basis and having others post comments, you continually increase your website ranking with the top search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN.

The best thing about blogs is they’re interactive. Customers can post comments, creating a sense of community. Keller Williams Realty gives you a free blog site.

Hi Agents!

As a Keller Williams agent, you are given access to an IDX for your site which is a tremendous value to your business. Did you know that an IDX can cost thousands of dollars to incorporate into a custom site? What Is An IDX? An IDX (Internet Data Exchange) is the data feed that MLS provides to brokersto display listings on a web site.  Until recently, an agent would have to be a broker to get access to this.  On top of that, that agent/broker would have to pay thousands in fees to get it up and going. KW has an agreement with MLS and Wolfnet (also known as MLSFinder) to get access to the MLS data feed and create your own IDX at no extra cost to you. In my opinion, this deal is phenomenal!  Have you been taking advantage of this? Your IDX link (which can be created by Wolfnet upon request – I can do this for you) will allow you to show every, single listing for sale in the MLS database on your KW Website.  Even those of you with a custom site can take advantage of this tremendous offer (email me for more info). Having an IDX not only keeps consumers coming to you and your site by offeringevery home for sale, but it also gives you more opportunities to capture more leads online.  Why send people to your site if you can’t get their contact information?  An IDX helps you do this in leaps and bounds. In summary, if you do not have your IDX setup, do not know if you have your IDX setup, or would just like more information please email me!  I can request your IDX link to be built in less than a few minutes; it’s very easy to do. Email me at ecordero@kw.com  to get the IDX ball rolling.
